* America takes her turn as the subject of this series. The author Frank

Capra views the USA's history and it's reaction to the terrifying events

"across the ocean" and it's change in feelings from "America first"

isolationism, to involvement in the fight against the Axis. "This is one of

the most graphic visual histories ever made". - Frank Capra


* Historical source warning: This is a subjective history description from

the 1940's, that exclude the very existens of the native people of the

americas, the North American so called "indians". The whole continent was

populated by them before the europeans arrived and allmost totally killed

them off. No word about that in this film... Also, Capra counts in "the

negroes" of the south, as a "proud cotton picking people". Nothing can be

more false. The africans was forced from their homelands into the North

American, Careebean and Brasilian slave labor. Not a word about this in this

film. And today "all men are equal" is truly false in the USA when a quarter

of the popualation vote for the super rich and wealthy, and 3 quarters lives

in all but equal conditions. Money from the industrial revolution created

classes. And class-forming is the opposite of equality. And all emires,

including the US of A, are exploiting slave labor. Ask an Indonesian woman

on her 36 hour shift for "The GAP" clothings or Nike.

Remember all that when you see this 7th part of an otherwise relatively

correct description of near history.
